What to expect from worship at Pine Street Church
We’re a downtown church in a great old building that has lots of character - and plenty of ways into worship! That's true for our programs as well as our facility: hundreds of people enter our back door every week for support groups, exercise classes, music lessons, worship services, reading groups, study options, and just to have coffee in a central location.
The first time you come to a worship service, you can expect a warm welcome and people dressed in everything from business attire, to casual, to college students in shorts and sandals. Our worship is not overly formal—just a warm, joyful experience. And when the service is over, we hang around for food and friendship building during our after-worship fellowship.
We love diversity in music and ideas in our worship experience because we think one of the main ways we’re made in God’s image is to be creative the way God is!
